Sally and Will follow up a report from a shocked driver who accidentally hit a pedestrian with her car, only to see the victim run off. The trail leads to teenage runaway Adam Younger, who is bleeding from a shotgun wound after befriending homeless Jimmy Chadwick and getting involved with a professional hitman. A sting operation is called off when the gun-man turns up looking for the teenager
