Two students, Brooke and Tim, become parents for the first time

The documentary returns to capture life in the maternity unit at Liverpool Women's Hospital. Students Brooke and Tim, both aged 23, who became inseparable when they met in their first term at university, become parents for the first time and have difficulty deciding on a name for their baby, while things don't go according to plan in theatre for 40-year-old Hayley. She is afraid of being separated from her 23-year-old partner Nick, after he became critically ill during the pregnancy as a result of contracting pneumonia and septicaemia. Meanwhile, Tara, aged 36, has chosen her 16-year-old daughter Courtney as her birthing partner
