A student Shakespeare production ends in murder

A student production of The Merchant of Venice is halted when the actor playing Shylock is murdered during the performance. Lewis and Hathaway are struck by the lack of grief among the cast and crew - especially the ambitious director, who wastes no time recasting the role. The detectives discover the victim had an expensive lifestyle and not only owed money to his fellow students, but was also suspected of stealing from them.
