Hugh takes a novice under his wing

Veteran Hugh Rowland is called on to impart his wisdom to 18-year-old trucker Isaac Lennie, who is making his first trip up the ice road. Despite a shaky start, with Isaac stalling the engine several times, Hugh has confidence in his young pupil. Meanwhile, Rick Yemm teams up with Bill Thorbourne to form a two-truck convoy to Mallick, and Drew Sherwood heads back onto the ice to deliver groceries to an isolated hamlet
