Quick Summary
The penultimate leg of the race heads to Medellín, in Colombia
About This Program
The penultimate leg of the race is the longest so far, with the teams travelling from the islands of Bocas del Toro on northern Panama's Caribbean coast, to Medellín, Colombia's second largest city. Standing in their way is the notorious and dangerous Darién Gap - their only option is to bypass it by sea, enduring a lengthy, arduous and costly boat journey, putting their dwindling budgets under pressure. On reaching the final country of the race, teams are confronted with another challenge to overcome - a heightened security risk on the route to Medellín
Celebrity Race Across the World broadcasts on BBC Two Northern Ireland at 1:15pm, Sunday, 7 December 2025. (Subtitles, repeat)
