About This Program
The programme focuses on the tragic events of September 1961, when a Douglas DC-6 operated by Transair Sweden, carrying Dag Hammarskjöld, the second Secretary-General of the United Nations, crashed en route to cease-fire negotiations in Northern Rhodesia during the Congo Crisis. All 16 passengers and crew members were killed.
