Crime writer Ariadne Oliver (My Family's Zoe Wanamaker) and four known killers are among those who meet Poirot at a bridge evening arranged by wealthy adventurer Shaitana, who sits out the first game - only to be found later stabbed through the heart. As nobody has left or entered the victim's apartment during the night, the guests combine their skills to discover which of the party is responsible.
